Below are the answers to the most frequently asked questions from our guests.

Camping & Village

How far from the sea?

We are right in front of the sea. Just go down a staircase to sunbathe and put your feet in the water.

Are pitches shaded?

It depends on the type and location. The shadiest pitches are located in the upper part of the campsite. Upon arrival, you can choose the position you prefer from those available. When booking, indicate your preference, and if possible, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Is there Wi-Fi in the facility?

Yes, Wi-Fi is free throughout the camping village. Being in a pine forest, in some areas, the signal might be weaker, but moving a few steps should restore full signal.

What time can I check-in?

Pitches are available from 1:00 PM on the day of arrival. All other types of accommodations are ready from 3:30 PM.

What time is check-out?

You can stay in your accommodation until 10:00 AM and on the pitch until 12:00 PM. If you’d like, after checking out, you can stay with us a bit longer to enjoy the sea and the pool.

Can I arrive before 3:30 PM?

If your accommodation is ready, we’ll provide you with the key right away. Otherwise, you can go to the beach or stop by the bar or the pool while waiting.

How many people can stay in an accommodation?

In bungalows, mobile homes, and maxi caravans, up to 5 people can stay, regardless of their age.

What types of accommodations are available?

In addition to pitches, you can choose from bungalows, mobile homes, and maxi caravans.

Can I park my car in my pitch?

Yes, if you’re coming with a caravan or tent and there’s enough space. If your car’s dimensions exceed those of the pitch or if you’re traveling with more than one vehicle, you can reserve a spot in our external parking lot for 10€ per day.

For all other types of accommodation, a parking space is included in the external parking lot.

Do you have recycling bins?

Absolutely yes. You’ll find instructions inside your accommodation or by using our app.

Can I put a crib or cot in my accommodation?

Yes, both in the bedroom of the bungalow and in the living area of the mobile home, but without moving the furniture.

Is there a barbecue area?

Yes, we have a nice barbecue and picnic area with tables and benches. You can request the grills at the reception (a deposit is required).

You can use the charcoal grill as long as the smoke doesn’t disturb the neighbors and doesn’t damage the lawn.

Are there washing machines?

Yes, in the central area of the camping village, there are 2 washing machines (with detergent included) and 2 coin-operated dryers, as well as sinks for hand washing your laundry.

Is there entertainment for children?

Yes, in addition to the outdoor play area, during the summer months, we have a miniclub with animators for children aged 3 and up.

Who should I ask to get sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach?

Once there, you can ask directly to the baywatch staff who collaborate with Miramare.

Is the camping village suitable for people with reduced mobility?

Yes, we have two bungalows with access and sanitary facilities for people with reduced mobility.

The restaurant and the pool have direct access ramps, and some common restrooms are equipped for people with reduced mobility.

However, the sea is only accessible by descending a staircase.

Do you have free parking?

The parking is right in front of the main entrance. For each accommodation (bungalow, mobile home, maxi caravan), one free parking space is provided.

Why can't I book the dates I've chosen?

We probably don’t have availability on the dates you’ve selected. Try changing the dates or contact us at +39 0586 58 04 02.

Can I choose full board?

Yes, both full board and half board are available. You can specify your choice when making a reservation, and we’ll include your request in the quote.

When is the bar-restaurant open?

Every day from 8 AM to 11 PM, from May to September.

When is the market open?

Every day from 8 AM to 8 PM during the summer season.

In the fall and winter, where can I eat?

On this page, you’ll find a list of restaurants and pizzerias that are open year-round where you can taste authentic Tuscan cuisine. It also indicates those that offer home delivery directly to Miramare.

How do the showers work?

Set the dial to “Open” and adjust the temperature by moving it right and left.

TO ACTIVATE THE SHOWER – Hold your card near the Start/Stop symbol. The display will show the remaining credit and the water dispensing time.

PAUSE – Hold your card near the Start/Stop symbol. The display will show the pause time, and the water dispensing time won’t be deducted.

REACTIVATE THE SHOWER – Hold your card near the Start/Stop symbol. The display will show the remaining time available.

You can do this as many times as you want until the available time runs out. Once the time is up, the shower will return to standby mode and be ready for the next use.

Is there an ATM at Miramare?

No, but for all internal payments (except for the beach), you can use a credit card or a debit card.

The nearest ATM is located in Via dei Bagni (4 minutes by car).

How far is the nearest town?

Antignano, the closest neighborhood, is about 800 meters from here. The city center is approximately 20 minutes by car or bus.

Do you offer a shuttle service?

No, but there is a bus stop 800 meters from Miramare. Alternatively, we can call a taxi for you.

Is there a doctor inside the camping village?

No, but if you need one, we can contact them. However, we have a small infirmary that is accessible during reception opening hours and, in the summer, until 2 AM.

Are there public transportation options?

Yes, in both directions, toward Livorno and southbound.

Direction Livorno:

Southbound (Castiglioncello, Rosignano, Cecina,…):

How can I buy bus tickets?

Using the at-bus app, available for download on Apple Store, Google Play, and AppGallery

Can I bring my dog?

Of course. In the camping and on the beach, your dog can always be with you, as long as it’s on a leash. The only exceptions are the mobile homes, the Promenade terrace, the pool, and the children’s play area. We also ask that you never leave your dog alone in your accommodation for more than 2 hours.

What should I bring for my dog?

Bring your vaccination documents, a short leash (which you should keep on when moving around the camping village and at the beach), and a muzzle, which you should use if necessary.

Can my dog swim in the sea?

Yes, as long as it’s on a leash and respects other swimmers.

Where can I take him to do his needs?

You should take him outside the camping village or to the dog park area. Always pick up after your dog, both inside and outside Miramare.

Can I let him off the leash in the dog park?

Yes, he can move freely without a leash or muzzle, provided it’s under the close supervision and civil and criminal responsibility of its owner/keeper, who must always remain within the area itself, following the rules.

You are required to have a valid insurance policy that can cover any damage to people, animals, or property caused by your animal or your behavior.

Until what time is the dog park open?

The area is open every day until 7:00 PM. In case of difficulties due to inappropriate behavior by guests using it, hygiene and health issues, extraordinary maintenance, or safety reasons, it may be closed.

What rules do I need to follow inside?

Before entering, make sure all safety conditions are met regarding the gender, size, and behavioral characteristics of dogs already present. To do this, inquire with their owners.

Keep your dog on a short leash when entering and exiting, and make sure to close the gate behind you.

Keep your dog under control and intervene immediately if it displays risky behaviors towards other animals, people, or property.

For this, always have a muzzle with you to use in risky situations.

What is prohibited inside?
  • Engaging in any form of training that promotes dog aggression, unless it is specifically aimed at obedience training for the animals.
  • Creating situations that generate excitement in dogs, to the point of causing fights.
  • Feeding dogs inside the area, to avoid competition among them.
  • Using the area to consume food of any kind.
  • Introducing dogs with infectious/infestive diseases or females during the entire heat period to prevent conflicts among males.
  • Inappropriate use of the motor path as a play activity by people.
