Mostri Sacri Festival 2025

The Festival Honoring the Giants of Italian Music Returns to Livorno

The Mostri Sacri Festival 2025 is back in Livorno with its fifth edition, featuring a rich lineup of events paying tribute to the greats of Italian music. Organized by Mangiadischi APS, this festival has become a must-attend event for lovers of singer-songwriter music. After the 2024 edition that took place between Livorno and Pisa, the festival returns exclusively to Livorno, expanding its program with live performances, cinema, art, and literature.

Mostri Sacri Festival 2025: A Program Full of Events

The Mostri Sacri Festival 2025 will take place between February and April, with eight unmissable events celebrating the greatest artists in Italian music through live performances, film screenings, art exhibitions, and literary discussions.

Live Music at The Cage

The live music nights will be held at the historic The Cage Club, where over 30 artists will perform tributes to their musical idols. The main events will take place in Livorno, and the dates to mark on your calendar are:

February 28 – March 21 – April 18

Each evening will follow the successful formula of previous editions: a headline artist will dedicate an entire set to an Italian music legend, while other musicians will open the night with short performances honoring their favorite artists.

Featured Artists for 2025:

  • Alosi (ex Pan Del Diavolo) will pay tribute to Adriano Celentano.
  • Giulia Pratelli & Luca Guidi will perform songs by Domenico Modugno.
  • Sinedades, a Florence-based world-music duo, will showcase pieces from the Genovese School.
  • Chiara Pellegrini will sing songs by Ivano Fossati.
  • Flamen, a young talent, will interpret the music of Mina.
  • Michela Lombardi, Giorgio Mannucci, and Valeria Caliandro will pay tribute to Piero Ciampi.

Cinema at Centro Artistico Grattacielo

On February 23, in collaboration with the Circolo Kinoglaz, the festival will host a screening of the documentary “Vengo anch’io” about Enzo Jannacci, with a special introduction by director Giorgio Verdelli.

Art at Villa Trossi Uberti

On March 8 and 9, Villa Trossi Uberti will host “La Mostra delle Mostre”, an art exhibition dedicated to female figures in Italian music. The exhibited works will be selected through a call for artists curated by Francesca Lombardi and judged by a panel led by La Tram.

Literature at Mondadori Bookstore

On April 11, at the Mondadori Bookstore on Via Grande, the festival will host a talk with Jacopo Tomatis, musicologist and journalist, who will present his book “Storia culturale della canzone italiana”.
